This is where all of my food reviews go. It is supposed to be entertaining. Maybe it will just be horrible.

Quick fixes for people who always run late.
So, i finally caved and read the book. And realized that i had already read it but in a much better version 4 years ago. It was called Battle Royale back then. Amazing read. Hunger Games was mediocre at best. It only took me like a few hours to read which i suppose is good.
Reading a book called “blood island”. Its pretty good but life is pretty hectic right now so its slow going.
I am trying to complete this book by JR Rain. Its a compilation of ghost tales by writers such as scott nicholson, jr rain, aiden james and gemma halliday.
So far it has been interesting and suspenseful, but not terribly scary. I might have to take a break and move on to something else. I usually like to finish a book i start, but i am losing interest in this quickly.
Update 1/18
Finished finally.

I started this a while back, but just finished it recently. It is a story about a man and a woman and she gets kidnapped. The kidnapper contacts him by phone and he has 24 hours to find her.
It started out to be an overplayed theme to the book, but quickly heated up into a supernatural thriller. I got to a point where i was reluctant to put it down. The characters were mostly well developed. The book wasnt rushed, but laid out really well. As the intensity grew, i think i read at a faster pace.
Overall, i was very surprised by the twists and turns this author put forth. However, a very graphic piece not for the faint of heart. Some very descriptive writing.
I would like to see what else this author has in store.

Wow, this book started out as quite a thriller! I was scared to get out of bed!
Synopsis: several misfit teens are taken on a camping trip by 2 adults for a last hurrah before their counseling center is shut down. One by one the teens are picked off by crazy feral cannibals or a mad scientist who does brain experiments on them. I wont give away any more details. **Spoiler below**
The characters were formed well, i felt like the black american characters were written by some cheesey white dude. The story flowed in a general direction, but sometimes was kind of choppy. I did not care for the ending, but i suppose you have to have survivors…
Overall, it was a good read, but i think its headed to the archive.
Jack kilborn is a great author, but i think he should stick to novellas.
